Alaska Dream Alpacas is proud to offer some of our alpacas for sale. All of our alpacas are halter trained and travel well in the family mini van, SUV or pickup. Each animal leaves our farm with its own halter and lead. We are a full service farm that offers breeding, sales, raw fiber, and finished Alpaca products. We believe after sales support is very important. We want new owners and their alpacas to be comfortable with each other long after the sale, so we make ourselves available for any questions or hands on help.
Terms are available on sales and package prices are available with the purchase of two or more. Please call for pictures, or better yet come see the alpacas for yourselves. We always welcome farm visitors.

All of our alpacas are ARI registered, vet checked and wormed regularly. We are lucky to have a qualified camelid vet right here in the Valley : Sandi J Farris, DVM. of Harmony Veternary Services is experienced and a wealth of information and advice regarding the health and welfare of alpacas here in Alaska, She has her own alpaca herd, and we have been very happy with her care. (One of my fabulous males Donnie is out of Sandi's female alpaca Riviera).

Fleece production:
Alpaca Fiber was once reserved only for Incan Royalty. It is no wonder the kings of long ago revered this luxurious fiber. It is warmer, softer and stronger than sheep’s wool and comes in over 20 natural colors. Alpaca fiber is often compared to cashmere. Garments made of alpaca can be worn against the skin by most as it is lanolin free and has little if any prickle factor.
In Alaska we harvest our alpaca fiber each May. The fiber shorn is 3-5” long. Each alpaca’s total fiber yield ranges between 3-12#. Having clean alpaca fiber to sell or make into products is very important to us. We keep our pastures clean and shear our alpacas annually.
We have raw fiber, and clean, carded fiber available to purchase. Please contact us for colors and availability. Alaska Dream Alpacas also has alpaca products for sale.
